Introduction: Blood group, clotting time (CT) and bleeding (BT) are vital haematological parameters that tested prior to any surgery. groups associated with various diseases blood group "O" linked nose bleeds. The aim of this study is evaluate the association between CT BT find differences in gender among these parameters. Study Design: A cross-sectional observational study. Place Duration: In department Physiology Medicine, MTI LRH, Peshawar Pakistan for one-year duration from March 2021 February 2022. Results: conducted individuals (120 men, 80 women) aged 20-25 years. Although changes not statistically significant, values higher O, less type B AB grouping had lowest (p> 0.17). There is an indication that this may also be true for acute perforation and indeed the relationship may be with the severity of the ulcer disease. In a previous paper (Horwich and Evans, 1966) a relationship was shown between the loss of gastric mucosal cells in 160 volu...
متن کاملBlood group distribution and its relationship with bleeding time and clotting time
Background: Blood group plays a vital role in the field of transfusion medicine. The relationship between bleeding time, clotting time, and blood group is important in certain clinical conditions such as epistaxis, surgery, and thrombosis. Researchers have shown that epistaxis is more often encountered in patients having blood group O probably due to lower expression of von Willebrand factor, a...
